- It is recommended to take off jewelry when washing hands, bathing, exercising, sleeping , and try to avoid wearing it when soaking in hot springs and other situations where you need to touch water. If it comes into contact with water, it is recommended to wipe it dry before storing it.
- In addition, it is worth noting that the daily contact with cleaning products, perfumes and cosmetics, the humidity of the place where they are placed, the amount of personal wear, the amount of sweat and physical fitness are all factors that affect its luster and accelerate oxidation and fading.
- Although metal materials such as bracelets, earrings, and rings are elastic and can be adjusted slightly, it is not recommended to pull or squeeze them vigorously to avoid irreversible damage and deformation. When adjusting the bracelet and ring circumference, it is recommended to use the ring and ring parts as the force application points to avoid squeezing the diamonds and pearls on the main body.
- When removing the earrings/earrings, do not pull directly on the pearls or pendants. When wearing a necklace, try to avoid the habit of pulling on the pendant.

- Avoid exposure to chemicals : Pearls are easily damaged by chemicals such as perfumes, cosmetics, detergents, etc. Before wearing pearl jewelry, you should make sure that your skin has completely absorbed these substances to avoid causing damage to the pearls.
- Avoid exposure to direct sunlight : Prolonged exposure to sunlight may cause pearls to change color and lose their luster. You should avoid exposing pearl jewelry to strong sunlight, especially on a windowsill or next to a stove.
- Keep away from heat and humidity : High temperatures and humidity may cause pearls to discolor, deform, or deteriorate. When storing pearl jewelry, it is best to choose a dry, cool place and avoid placing it in humid places such as the bathroom or kitchen.
- Regular cleaning : Pearl jewelry will be contaminated by sebum, sweat and other substances. It is recommended to use a semi-wet soft cloth to gently wipe the surface of the pearl after wearing it, and then put it into a storage box after the water dries to maintain its luster.
- Store separately : Pearl jewelry should be stored separately to avoid rubbing with other jewelry to avoid scratching the surface.
- Regular inspection : Regularly check whether the beads of pearl jewelry are loose, and be sure to send them to a professional jewelry store for inspection and maintenance.
｜Storage and maintenance｜
- For daily cleaning and storage, you should wipe it clean with a soft cloth and store it separately from other jewelry to avoid stacking.
- Please avoid contact with acidic substances, chemicals, hot springs, perfumes, cosmetics, and friction with sharp objects.
- Sterling silver jewelry oxidizes more slowly than other cheap plated metals. Each model is additionally electroplated with 14k gold and platinum, so slight rust spots and oxidation can be removed by wiping with a silver wiping cloth to restore the luster.
- Due to the humid and hot weather in Taiwan, the color of electroplating is affected by humidity and is difficult to maintain for a long time. Therefore, when storing jewelry in a cloth bag, jewelry box or ziplock bag, remember to place it in a cool and dry place to reduce the speed of oxidation or fading.
- When going out without wearing it, please do not put jewelry directly into bags or wallets to avoid surface scratches and pearl peeling caused by friction and extrusion during movement.
- If it is not a diamond-encrusted model, the pearls are all glued by hand. High temperatures and direct sunlight may cause the glue to melt and cause the pearls/ diamonds to fall off.
｜Maintenance Services｜
Repair services are limited to the brand’s self-operated online platform and cooperative dealers. Branded products sold through any sales channel that is not authorized by the brand will not be entitled to maintenance services. In order to ensure the rights and interests of each customer, please be sure to understand the source of the channel before purchasing.
- Enjoy a lifetime product warranty with the brand's product warranty card. Please keep the warranty card and relevant purchase receipts properly and present the certificate when repairs are required. If the card is lost , it will not be reissued.
- If there is a situation that requires maintenance and repair after purchase, please do not handle it yourself first. Wrong repair methods may make subsequent repairs more difficult.
- Depending on the actual condition of each repair, we will charge a corresponding basic repair fee. Maintenance costs are variable and will be quoted based on the actual repair requirements based on the brand. Therefore, if you have any repair-related needs, please send photos of the products you need to repair to hello@cleanewyork.com in advance. Discuss it with us so we can assess the extent of the damage and provide a repair estimate.
- The scope of small-cost repair services is basic repairs , such as diamond repair, pearl repair, maintenance and other related matters, but does not include additional customized modifications. If the damage to the product is serious and requires processing such as welding and re-plating, additional repair fees will be charged.
- If accessories such as pearl bead needles or small diamonds or gemstones are lost, you will need to bear the additional material cost of purchasing new pearls and small diamonds.
- The brand reserves the right to ultimately provide maintenance services.
- Please note that the return postage for repair services must be borne by the customer.
